SAP S/4HANA Implementation Done Right, First Time

A successful SAP implementation isn’t just a technical event — it’s a business transformation. Aevitas IT brings the methodology, experience, and accountability to deliver implementations that go live on time, within budget, and built to last.

Full-Lifecycle SAP Implementation

Whether you are moving from SAP ECC, migrating off a non-SAP ERP, or implementing SAP for the first time, Aevitas IT provides end-to-end delivery across all SAP S/4HANA deployment models — Public Cloud (SAP GROW), Private Cloud, and on-premise. We support brownfield conversions, greenfield implementations, and selective data migration approaches, tailoring the strategy to your business objectives, timeline, and existing landscape.

Our engagements span finance, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, sales, and industry-specific requirements. We work across sectors including Telecoms, Utilities, Retail, Hospitality, Financial Services, and the Public Sector.

SAP Activate — Refined for Speed and Certainty

We base every implementation on the SAP Activate methodology, the proven framework endorsed by SAP for S/4HANA deployments. Where we differentiate is in how we apply it: our consultants continuously challenge assumptions, eliminate unnecessary steps, and introduce accelerators that compress timelines without increasing risk.

SAP Activate — Five-Phase Delivery Framework

PHASE 1 Prepare Scope · Governance PHASE 2 Explore Workshops · Fit-Gap PHASE 3 Realise Build · Test · Iterate PHASE 4 Deploy Cutover · Go-Live PHASE 5 Run Operate · AMS
1

Prepare

We align stakeholders, confirm scope and governance, define the project team and escalation model, and validate the infrastructure and system landscape. A clear charter and structured kick-off sets every project on a firm footing from day one.

2

Explore

Business process workshops validate requirements against SAP's standard best practices. We identify gaps, agree on essential enhancements, plan integrations, and begin data cleansing and migration scoping — with user adoption and change management planning running in parallel.

3

Realise

Configuration, development, and integration work is delivered in Agile sprints, with regular stakeholder reviews to confirm alignment. Data migration runs are executed iteratively, and end-to-end testing cycles begin as each sprint closes.

4

Deploy

Cutover planning is executed with precision. Final migration runs, hypercare preparation, and production readiness checks are completed. We manage the go-live event closely, with dedicated war-room support to resolve any issues in real time.

5

Run

Post go-live, we provide hypercare support and a structured handover to your operational team or our Application Managed Services practice. System documentation, outstanding items, and SAP Solution Manager integration complete the delivery.

How We Use SAP Cloud ALM to Run This

SAP Activate is the methodology; SAP Cloud ALM is how we make it visible. We configure your Cloud ALM tenant as the project’s single system of record from kick-off – the same tenant that runs your change management and operations afterward

One system of record

Project plan, requirements, and test cycles all live in Cloud ALM - visible to your team throughout, not just at steering committee.

Governance, not slideware

RACI, status, and risk are tracked live in the tool, so a steering update reflects what's actually happening, not what was true last week.

A head start on Day 2

The Cloud ALM tenant we configure to run your project becomes the same tenant you use to run change management and monitoring after go-live.

Delivering SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition in five months

A mid-sized organisation needed a modern ERP environment covering finance, procurement, supply chain, integrations and reporting. Aevitas IT delivered the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition programme through GROW with SAP in five months, creating an integrated and scalable foundation for future growth.

AI in SAP Implementation

Modern SAP S/4HANA implementations unlock SAP Business AI from day one. Aevitas IT designs your implementation to be AI-ready — ensuring clean core alignment, data quality, and process standardisation that allows Joule assistants and agents to deliver value immediately after go-live.

What a Well-Executed Implementation Delivers

Unified Business Platform

A single, real-time data model replaces disconnected legacy systems, giving every function — finance, logistics, sales, HR — a shared source of truth.

Faster Decision-Making

SAP S/4HANA’s in-memory HANA database delivers real-time analytics and reporting without batch delays, enabling leaders to act on current data, not yesterday’s.

Reduced Total Cost of Ownership

Simplified data models, streamlined processes, and elimination of legacy integrations reduce both operational overhead and long-term maintenance costs.

Regulatory Confidence

Built-in compliance capabilities — from financial close to tax determination and audit trails — reduce compliance risk across all the jurisdictions you operate in.

The Aevitas Advantage in Implementation

Sector-Deep Experience

We have delivered complex SAP implementations across Telecoms, Utilities, Retail, and Financial Services, including a single S/4HANA implementation spanning 22 countries.

Methodology We Own

We don’t just follow SAP Activate, we continuously refine it. Our accelerators, templates, and pre-built test scripts compress timelines while maintaining rigour.

Accountability That Sticks

Structured governance, a clear escalation matrix, and proactive risk management mean issues are identified and resolved, not escalated and parked.

AI-First Design

Every implementation is architected to be AI-ready from the outset, ensuring you can activate SAP Joule and Business AI capabilities without rework later.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a typical SAP S/4HANA implementation take?

It depends on scope and deployment model. A focused SAP GROW Public Cloud deployment can go live in as little as five months; a full private cloud or on-premise implementation with complex customisation typically runs nine to eighteen months. We size the timeline during the Prepare phase, once scope and landscape are understood.

Should we choose brownfield, greenfield, or selective data migration?

Greenfield suits organisations wanting a clean break from legacy customisation. Brownfield (system conversion) preserves existing configuration and history but carries forward technical debt. Selective data migration sits between the two — moving only clean, relevant data and processes into a new build. We help you weigh this against your current landscape, timeline, and appetite for process change.

Do we need to redesign our processes before implementation, or can that happen during the project?

Ideally, foundational process and architecture decisions happen before implementation begins, that's the role of System Design & Transformation. Running that thinking during Explore is possible for smaller-scope projects, but it increases risk of scope creep for larger, multi-country programmes.
